Bridging the gap in participation with high quality provision
What we offer
Pre Academy is specifically designed to introduce football in a fun, enjoyable way. We are working with guidelines from the National School Curriculum to help children develop basic movements of running, jumping, agility, balance and co-ordination; applying them into game situations. We also encourage the use of simple tactics in attacking and defending scenarios to promote communication, fair play and team work. Pre Academy is a great way to introduce your child to sport and one step to reaching the government’s target of 3 hours of quality extracurricular activity. Currently only 59.5% of school children at KS1 achieve this target. The benefits of both cognitive and behavioural development caused by sport participation gives your child a head start not only in sport but in school education. The natural progression of Qualitotz is to join the Qualitas Scholarship programme, where the children will have already acquired the knowledge of the Qualitas philosophy.
The Qualitotz Team
I’ve been playing football since I was 6 years old, I started out with Handley Wood Boys, then Sheffield United Girls Centre of Excellence, Derby County Girls Centre of Excellence, Derby County ladies, Sheffield FC Ladies. I have represented England at Under 15, 17 and 19’s level, I have played in a Nordic tournament in Sweden, and also to Iceland to play in the euros. I have been working with Qualitas for 3 years and have gained a lot of experience from working with some very talented coaches. I enjoy every single minute working with Qualitas and I am really looking forward to working with the Qualitotz, I love seeing the children we teach improve every single session, using the detailed session plans.
