Tupton Cluster Fundamentals/Multi Skills Event

I would like to take this opportunity to say a massive well done and thank you to those who attended the KS1 Fundamentals and Multi -Skills event on Thursday. I think it is safe to say that the children all left having enjoyed themselves, with smiles on their face. For many of the children this was their first experience of an external event, even their first experience of a coach journey and it was a pleasure to be part of this moment.

As you may know, this was the first event post – COVID which Qualitas have been able to host. Children from, Ashover Primary School, Deer Park Primary School, Holmgate Primary School, Hunloke Park Primary School, North Wingfield Primary School and Sharley Park Community Primary School, all came together to enjoy six fun packed activities focusing on developing their core fundamental skills; Agility, Balance and Coordination.

Like all of us, children have lacked important social interaction over the last 18 months, which is why Qualitas are keen to get our cluster events back up and running. For the children, this meant having the opportunity to be around peers from other schools in the area, while still being able to take part in specially designed activities to work on their agility, balance, co-ordination, and teamwork.

On behalf of the Qualitas coaches, I would like to say a final thank you to all the children and staff who attended this event. The children were all extremely well behaved and were a credit to their school. We would like to thank the staff who we know work tirelessly to allow the children to attend such events.

We hope to see you very soon at another of our Qualitas cluster events in the upcoming future.
