I first joined Qualitas in August 2019 after previously working as a primary school teacher in Barnsley. After gaining a 1st Class Honours Degree in Sports Coaching at Leeds Metropolitan University in 2015, I then went on to complete my PGCE in Primary Education. Due to this experience, I have developed a deep understanding of the school sport initiative and my knowledge of the structure of the Primary PE and Sport Curriculum is fundamental to my job role as a School Sport Cluster Manager.
I have travelled a lot and have coached and taught in many countries around the world, which includes spending a year in Australia and also working for the MLS team, Chicago Fire, in their youth academy programme. I have extensive knowledge and coaching qualifications in various sports, including the Japanese martial art Aikido.
As well as having a love for coaching, I also play football semi-professionally for Leeds United in the 4th tier of women’s football.
For Qualitas, my main responsibilities, as well as overseeing my Cluster of schools, include managing the development of our Education Courses, implementing and directing Staff CPD and training and continuously expanding our business development models by inspiring new connections and links with relevant stakeholders.
