As we start to progress towards a return to some degree of normality, the need for closer collaboration between education, business and communities becomes ever more important to help facilitate the rebuilding of our economy and our business and personal opportunities and confidence. There is an urgent need certainly to create greater communication between business and education so as to ensure quality, availability and opportunity for all going forward.
Qualitas Sports have established themselves as a substantial provider of innovative sports games programmes, CPD
provision and school clubs within the local area, working with more than 60 schools and 16,000 students over the academic year, and we have developed a reputation for delivering highly professional and personalised programmes created to inspire a passion for sport and physical activity. Our expert sports coaches offer innovative, creative and engaging programmes tailored to each individual schools’ stated needs with the primary objective of making sport and general well-being an increasingly important part of the school curriculum, as well as ensuring that participation is enjoyable for all.
As part of our continuing drive to stimulate interest and innovation amongst our participating schools, we are excited to announce that one of the world’s top 20 educators, Richard Gerver and a core tam of specialist in their own right will be joining the Qualitas family to present an informative and stimulating lecture at our first sport summit meeting of the new academic year. The lecture will take place as part of our summit meeting and at the same time a full class of year 3 children from your school will be invited to attend the day to experience the sporting experience of a life time. I’m sure you will agree every child has suffered over the past 18 months, but we feel extra care and particular attention needs to be focused on the current years 2’s who really haven’t received any summer or expertise led schools games sport during this time.
In terms of special guest, Mr Richard Gerver he has been described as one of the most inspirational speakers of his generation and is an award-winning speaker and bestselling author. Richard began his career in education, most notably as headteacher of the failing Grange Primary School. He transformed the school into one of the most acclaimed learning environments in the world and his success was celebrated by both UNESCO and the UK Government.
Nowadays, Richard has transitioned to the global stage where he uses his trademark humour and natural style to deliver passionate and authentic speeches. The core principles underpinning Richard’s philosophy are communication, empowerment and impact. A more in depth understanding of Richard’s career and success can be found on his personal website https://www.richardgerver.com/
The Summit will revolve around what we can achieve together as we come out of this current crisis and to celebrate the power of collaboration and community as we look to build a legacy that underpins our children as they move towards their futures. For all of us, understanding the power of sport as a catalyst for the development of key skills and behaviours including team work, discipline and practice are all behaviours we wish to see not just in our schools but also in our workplace environments.
Richard’s and Qualitas message will be about ‘Fit 4 Future for our children’ and how we can help inspire a passion for Sport and Physical Activity within our community.
