After a couple of years working with primary schools in Chesterfield I joined Qualitas in June 2021. I completed my Degree in BSc (Hons) Physical Education and School Sport with 1st Class Honours in 2019, I then went onto work for the Chesterfield FC Community Trust as their Premier League Primary Stars Coordinator. Throughout my career so far I have been able to gain more knowledge about the national curriculum and school sport allowing me to experience delivery in a range of different topic areas such as games, swimming, dance and gymnastics. While also developing key personal and professional skills which are fundamental to my new role as a schools cluster manager. I begin to grow and interest in coaching/ teaching at the age of 16 when I got my level 1 in football coaching, through college and university I was able to expand my knowledge further by completing my Level 2 in football and my AfPE Level 3 in supporting the delivery of PE and School Sport. Not to mention qualifications within Tennis and Basketball as well to show an extensive amount of knowledge in different sports. I have also had the opportunity to teach in America through Camp America where I delivered on a day camp for three months in Pittsburgh. This was a fantastic opportunity and pushed me outside of my comfort zone and I learned so much about myself, encouraging myself to think more holistically about my delivery and how I can further develop the children I work with socially and psychologically. For Qualitas Sport, my main responsibilities include the management of my cluster of schools, organising and delivering our bike-a-mental programme, delivering high quality PE and continuously expanding our business by inspiring new connections with schools and links with relevant stakeholders.
